Haug and Zharinov Named All-Big Ten

A 2002 All-American, Haug is currently ranked 65th in the nation after posting a 22-12 singles record during the regular season. The native of Switzerland had a 6-2 record in singles during the Big Ten season. He also posted a 6-2 mark in league doubles with senior Manuel Lievano and sophomore Avery Ticer.
A native of Novosibirsk, Russia, Zharinov leads the team with a 31-8 singles record, including a 9-1 record in the Big Ten. He has won 18 of his last 20 Big Ten matches in the past two seasons. He also posted a 4-4 conference doubles record with Chris Wettengel.
The Golden Gophers are competing at the Big Ten Championship this weekend in Evanston, Ill. Minnesota is the third seed in the tournament after posting an 8-2 record in the Big Ten.
