Zharinov Preparing for NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship

Junior Aleksey Zharinov will compete in the NCAA Singles Championship next week in Athens, Ga., May 21-26. The draw for the tournament will be released on May 20.

Zharinov, a native of Novosibirsk, Russia, led the Golden Gophers with a 33-10 record, including a 9-1 mark in the Big Ten. He was named to the All-Big Ten team for the first time in his career this past season.
