Sprinter Mikael Jakobsson Misses World Championships Final

elimi Minnesota's Mikael Jakobsson was eliminated from the 400-meter hurdles competition at the IAAF World Track & Field Championships in Pair after running a time of 50.06 seconds and placing seventh in the event's first semifinal on Wednesday. Jakobsson is a member of the Swedish National Team and will be a senior of the Golden Gophers in 2004.
