Gophers Win 400 Medley Relay at Grand Prix

The Minnesota men’s swimming team’s final session of the 2010 Minnesota Grand Prix was highlighted by a winning 400-yard medley relay in the meet’s final event. The foursome of Zach Bolin, Ivan Gutesa, Kyler Van Swol and Curt Carlson swam to a gold-medal time of 3 minutes, 18.67 seconds.
The Gophers had three swimmers compete in the championship final of the 100 free. Carlson was sixth in a time of 44.69 seconds, followed by Michael Richards in sevenths in 44.88 and Bolin in eighth in 44.99.
