Gophers Compete in Georgia Invitational

The Golden Gopher men’s swimming & diving team will compete this weekend, Dec. 3-5, in the Georgia Invitational in Athens, Ga. The prelims start at 8:30 a.m. CT each day, with finals at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Auburn, Penn State and Virginia join Minnesota and host Georgia in the Invitational field.
The Invitational is the Gophers’ final competition of the first semester. The student-athletes will take final exams in mid-December, enjoy a short break for Christmas, then after the holiday travel to Hawaii for their annual winter training trip.
