Blankenship in USA Championships 1,500m Field

Minnesota’s Ben Blankenship will compete this week in the USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. The Championships run from June 23-27 on the famous blue track at Drake University.
Blankenship, an NCAA indoor All-American last spring, will also compete in the 1,500 meters. The men’s first round prelims will be held on Friday at 6:25 p.m. The top two finishers in each of the three preliminary heats and the next six best times advance to Sunday’s 2:40 p.m. final.
