Blankenship Captures Silver Medal for Team USA

Minnesota’s Ben Blankenship captured the silver medal in the 1,500-meter run competing for Team USA at the NACAC U23 Championships in Miramar, Florida, on Saturday. Blankenship clocked a time of 3 minutes, 45.43 seconds.
The NACAC Athletic Association's U23 Championships are held every two years in one of the 32 member nations of the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association, one of six regional athletics associations affiliated with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
Another Golden Gopher, Aaron Studt, will compete in the shot put on Sunday.
