Ben Blankenship competing overseas

University of Minnesota Track and Field runner Ben Blankenship has been racing overseas this summer and posting some solid times. Blankenship recently won the "B" race at the KBC Nacht Athletics meeting in Huesden, Belgium on Saturday. The Gopher miler beat fellow American, AJ Acosta with a time of 3:37.76 in the 1,500-meter race.
On July 9, Blankenship also ran a 3:41.5 in the 1,500 meters in Cork, Italy prior to the Belgian meet. He will next compete in a 3,000-meter race in Lucerne on July 21.
