Dylan Zoe Earns First Big Ten Weekly Honor

Minnesota racked in another Big Ten weekly award as sophomore Dylan Zoe was named Diver of the Week. The announcement which came on Tuesday, Nov. 12 followed the University of Minnesota men's swimming and diving team victory over the University of North Dakota on Nov. 9. The 179-113 win proceeded as the fourth win of the season for the Gophers and increased their record to 4-1 in the season.

The Eagan, Minn. native, Zoe collected his first career Big Ten weekly accolade. With a stand-out performance against North Dakota, Zoe swept the single-dual meet by winning both events in the diving well. He earned a score of 324.90 in the one-meter and a 348.35 in the three-meter. His three-meter diving score also earned him a season-high top score.

The last University of Minnesota diver to be given the honor was back on Oct. 8, when Manny Pollard was given the title.

Minnesota is next set to compete in the USA Swimming Arena Grand Prix. The meet starts on Thursday, Nov. 14 and runs until Saturday, Nov. 16. Minnesota's own University Aquatic Center is hosting the event. For more information on the Grand Prix visit USASwimming.org.
