2013 Men's Tennis Recruits Ranked No. 14

The Minnesota men’s tennis team’s 2013 recruiting class is ranked No. 14 according to tennisrecruiting.net.
Minnesota’s incoming class includes to-be freshman Jeremy Lynn of Joplin, Mo., and Franz Sydow of the Netherlands.
Lynn is a five-star recruit out of Joplin High School in Joplin, Mo. Last summer, Lynn won the USTA National Open singles title in Denver to gain national attention. He also finished fifth in the state for the Joplin Eagles as a junior and fourth as a freshman at Thomas Jefferson High School. While on the tennis circuit last year, Lynn compiled a record of 48-25. As of Nov. 27, he is ranked the No.1 player in the state of Missouri and the No. 55 player in the nation.
Sydow competes with the Pro M Tennis Academy in the Netherlands and has found much success on the ITF Junior circuit. Over the past three years, he has gathered an overall record of 51-39 and a record of 9-3 in USTA sanctioned competitions. Sydow currently holds a 1553 ATP ranking and was ranked as high as 113 by ITF in 2012.
