Gophers Win Seven Events at Hamline Twilight

In its first of four different meets this week, the Minnesota women's track and field team won seven event titles. A few Golden Gophers posted season-best marks in winning their events at the Hamline Twilight on Wednesday.
Devin Stanford won the discus with a season-best throw of 163-5 (49.50m). She also won the hammer throw.
Katie Murgic and Katie Loberg also won their events with season bests. Murgic pole vaulted 12-5 1/2 (3.80m) and Loberg cleared 5-6 1/2 (1.69m).
Jessica Waldvogel (400-meter hurdles), Becci Osterdyk (shot put) and Emily Betz (javelin) also won their events.
