MINNEAPOLIS – Gopher women’s golf alum Mary Narzisi is one of 12 female golfers set to compete on the Golf Channel’s Big Break Florida when it debuts Monday, Feb. 25. The cast will compete for more than $175,000 in cash and prizes – the largest collection of prizes in series history – and an opportunity to play on the LPGA Tour.

Narzisi has spent the past two years on the Symetra Tour (official qualifying tour for the LPGA) after graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a degree in sport management.

As a Gopher, Narzisi’s career scoring average of 78.13 still ranks tied for sixth in program history while her 76.2 season average as a senior sits as the seventh best performance in the Minnesota record book. She recorded four top-10 finishes as a four-year letter winner and was also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.

The Omaha, Neb., native also was a two-time Nebraska State High School Individual Champion and led Marian High School to two state team titles.
