Zone D Diving Championships Complete

The University Aquatic Center welcomed some of the best collegiate divers in the nation this week as Minnesota hosted the NCAA Zone D diving championships.
Ninety-two divers are taking part in the three-day event which will qualify individuals into their respective NCAA Championship meets.
On Wednesday, the men and women both competed in platform diving. On Tuesday, the men competed in 1-meter diving, while the women were on the 3-meter. On Monday, the women competed in 1-meter diving on Monday, while the men showcased their skills in 3-meter diving. The top-three finishers in each event advance to the NCAA Championsip.
The following men qualified for the March 27-19 NCAA Championsips in Austin, Texas: Michael Hixon (Texas), David Bonuchi (Missouri), Will Chandler (Texas), Clark Thomas (Missouri), Cory Bowersox (Texas), Mark Anderson (Texas) and Matt Barnard (Minnesota).
The following women's advanced to the March 20-22 NCAA Championships in Minneapolis: Maren Taylor (Texas), Maggie Keefer (Minnesota), Lauren Reedy (Missouri), Emma Ivory-Ganja (Texas), Cassie Weil (LSU), Anna Filipcic (Nebraska-Lincoln), Samantha Bromberg (Texas), Jessica Ramberg (Minnesota) and Taylor Olanski (Houston).
