Link: Nineteen Gophers Qualify for NCAA Prelims

MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) -- Minnesota fifth-year senior John Simons' college career is coming to a close soon with the Hartland, Wis., native preparing for the the 2014 NCAA West Prelims in Arkansas next week.

Flotrack stopped by campus recently to highlight the Gophers' runner. Check it out!

Simons, one of 19 Gophers set to compete at the preliminary meet with hopes of advancing to the NCAA Championships in Oregon, is scheduled to run in the 1,500 meters. Arkansas hosts the NCAA West Prelims, May 29-31, at John McDonnell Field.
