Mable Set for NCAA Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- Junior Lindsay Mable will represent the University of Minnesota at the 2015 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships this weekend at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Mable, the lone Minnesotan to advance to the national championship, will compete as an all-arounder in the first session of the semifinal round on Friday, April 17 at 1 p.m. CT.

Both semifinal sessions will be streamed live on NCAA.com and live stats will be available. The Super Six and Sunday's Individual Event Finals can be seen live on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app.

The Aurora, Colo. native will compete alongside Georgia, who advanced to the NCAA Championships after winning the NCAA Cal-Berkeley Regional two weekends ago. Mable and the Gymdogs will begin the competition on vault.

The top four individuals from each session in each event (plus ties) from the preliminary team and all-around competition will compete in on Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m. CT in the Individual Event Finals.

Mable enters the final competition of 2015 season with 31 individual event titles and 11 all-around crowns. She was named the 2015 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year and NACGC/W North Central Region Gymnast of the Year at the conclusion of the NCAA Auburn Regional. Mable is currently ranked second in the nation in the all-around while she is ranked in the top ten in three of the four events including vault (10th), balance beam (6th) and floor exercise (10th), respectively.

Last season, Mable earned fifth place on vault at the Individual Event Finals in Birmingham, Ala. with a score of 9.9333.
