Husky Invitational:

In his first A-team competition with the Golden Gophers, junior Justin Doeden earned his first top-10 finish of the year, tying for 10th at the Husky Invitational with a score of 218. Doeden finished 5 over par to lead the Gophers, who finished ninth.

Junior Grady Meyer made a hole-in-one on the 17th hole, which was the hardest hole of the third round. Meyer was the only golfer to hit a hole-in-one across all three rounds of the tournament. Meyer finished a career best 18th, matching career bests for total score and tournament score to par. Both Meyer and Doeden finished the third round with a 73, leading the team in the final round.

Following a top-five finish at the Gopher Invitational, freshman Tom Vining finished 27th, shooting a 77 in the final round. Vining tied with Doeden for best round of the competition with a 72 in the second round.

Junior Jose Mendez had his best round Tuesday after having to withdraw from the first round on Monday, shooting a 78. Sophomore Riley Johnson finished 66th.

Oregon tied with host Washington to win the Husky Invitational with a team score of 865 (+13). Both teams are ranked in the top 15 in the nation. Washington's Corey Pereira finished as the top individual scorer at 206 (-7).

Husky Individual:

Sophomore Rúnar Arnorsson finished fifth in the individual competition with a 7-over score of 223. Arnorsson made four birdies and shot a 72 on Tuesday, which was his best round of the competition.

Fellow sophomore Charlie Duensing joined Arnorsson in the top 10, tying for eighth with a 226.
Junior Matt Rachey had his best round on Tuesday, hitting five birdies and finishing the round at 74. Rachey finished with a total score of 236, tying for 27th.

Freshman Peter Jones also put up his best score in the final round with a 76, hitting an eagle on the fourth hole. Jones had a total score of 240 and tied for 33rd.

Washington's Kevin Kwon won the Individual competition with a 216 (E).
