Gophers Ranked No. 16 in Preseason Poll

The University of Minnesota women's gymnastics program has been ranked No. 16 in the 2017 preseason coaches poll, announced this week by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics.

Minnesota placed 12th at the 2016 NCAA Championships, and won its third Big Ten regular season title in the past four years. While Minnesota graduated All-Americans Lindsay Mable and Hanna Nordquist, eight newcomers join the roster for the 2017 campaign.

The Gophers welcome fans to the program's annual intrasquad meet on Monday, Jan. 2 at the Sports Pavilion. Admission to this event is free, and competition will begin at 4 p.m.
