Minneapolis, Minn. - University of Minnesota head coach Geoff Young has announced the signing of Kaleb Dobbs on Tuesday.

Dobbs is a native of Sioux Falls, S.D. and goes to school at Lincoln High School. He has earned six letters in tennis and two in basketball during his prep career. Dobbs plans to study biology while at Minnesota.

Currently, Dobbs is ranked No. 89 nationally and is a four star recruit. He is the three-time reigning South Dakota high school state champion and is the No. 1 ranked player in the state. Dobbs was also named all-conference all four years.

Young: "I'm very excited to have Kaleb join our team next fall. He is a very good athlete and student, who will thrive in college athletics. I believe being able to practice every day with our existing players will greatly elevate his tennis game."
