The University of Minnesota women's golf team heads to Arizona this weekend to compete in the Clover Cup. The Golden Gophers return to play after tying for 11th at the Hurricane Invitational earlier this month.

The Gophers will begin the three-day, 54 hole tournament on Friday, playing at the 6,184-yard par 72 Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.

Minnesota will be competing against Arizona State, Cincinnati, Florida State, Houston, Indiana, IUPUI, Kentucky, Nebraska, Notre Dame (host), Oklahoma, TCU, UNCG, and Vanderbilt.

"Just excited to get them competing again," head coach Michele Redman said. "We've had a great spring break and we are seeing some great progress. We have shown at times in the last two events that we can be very competitive."

Live scoring throughout the tournament is available on birdiefire.com and will be posted to UND.com.
