Eight Gophers earned Scholastic All-American honors by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches / Women (NACGC/W).

Bailey Abernathy, Rachel Cutler, Rachel Haines, Bailie Holst, Ivy Lu, Kaitlin Rahon, Rachel Rowland and Becca Taylor each maintained a grade point average above 3.50 this past academic year. Abernathy and Holst each earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Abernathy, Holst, Rahon and Rowland each earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Awards earlier this year and seven Gophers notched Academic All-Big honors in the 2017 season. In 2016-17 the Maroon and Gold held over a 3.4 cumulative GPA which ranked 32nd in the NCAA and was the second highest in the Big Ten.
