1967 Big Ten Champs to Be Honored

The 1967 Golden Gopher Football team has been invited back to campus to celebrate with their teammates and fans the 50th anniversary of their Big Ten Football Championship. Along with the distinction of celebrating 50 years is the remarkable statistic that this squad was the last Golden Gopher Football team to boast of this achievement.
Forty team members and two coaches are scheduled to enjoy a reunion of Friday evening, September 29, in the "M" Club room at TCF Bank Stadium. On Saturday for the Big Ten Opener versus Maryland. the '67 team will autograph posters for fans prior to kick-off and then be introduced on the field early in the game. Be on the lookout for some of the all-time greats as this team returns to campus.
Tickets for the Maryland game are on sale now. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
