The Minnesota women's golf team returns to action this week, traveling to Idaho for the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Action begins at the 6,088-yard, par 71 course on Tuesday with an 8:00 a.m. MT shotgun start. The golfers will play 36 holes on Tuesday before a final round of 18 on Wednesday.

18 teams comprise the field, with fellow Big Ten schools Indiana and Illinois joining the Gophers along with host Gonzaga and BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, San Francisco, Seattle, South Dakota State, and Washington State.

Minnesota's lineup will consist of junior Muyu Wu, senior Sabrine Garrison, and freshmen Kate Lillie, Grace Kellar and Joanne Free.

In the only other tournament action of the year at the Minnesota Invitational, Wu finished with her second top-20 career finish, tying for 17th at 2-under-par (72-69-73-214). Garrison (75-71-74-220) and Lillie (73-71-76-220) tied for 39th, each ending the week at 4-over, while Kellar (71-73-78-222) and Free (74-76-74-224) tied for 46th and 55th, respectively, in their collegiate tournament debuts.

Following this week's tournament, the Gophers will be hosting the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M from Sunday through Tuesday at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie. The tournament, which features many of the best teams in the country, is free and open to the public.
