Meet Preview: Gophers Travel to Ohio State

The Gophers hit the road for the first time this season to take on Ohio State and Illinois State. They are undefeated on the early season with a home meet quad-victory followed by a dual-meet win last time out.

Last Time Out
The Maroon and Gold came out on top 196.075 to 194.925 last week against Michigan State in their annual Always Dreaming Meet.
Freshman Lexy Ramler won the all-around title for the second-straight meet, scoring a 39.450 score overall. In second place behind Ramler was another freshman, Ona Loper, who posted a 39.100. Loper won the vault and floor titles with a 9.9 on both. Ramler won beam with a 9.950, the highest mark posted by a Gopher all season.
Gopher Tidbits
Ramler notched the top all-around score in the entire Big Ten this last weekend with a 39.450. Her 9.950 mark on beam has her ranked No. 1 in the entire NCAA. She is third in the B1G in all-around so far this season. She was named both the B1G Athlete and Freshman of the Week.
Ivy Lu has posted back 9.9s on bars to start the season. She is No. 1 in the B1G and No. 7 in the NCAA. Loper is No. 2 in the B1G and No. 8 in the country on floor and No. 5 in the country on vault.
The Gophers bars squad is tenth in the NCAA and second in the B1G with a 49.075 average.
