Matt Sullivan: My time on campus has been amazing. I really enjoy spending time with the team as much as I possibly can.
GS: What are you most looking forward to in your first school year and season?
MS: I am looking forward to competing alongside my teammates. I can't wait to see how all of our hard work pays off.
GS: Why did you choose the University of Minnesota?
MS: I chose the University of Minnesota because it has a lot to offer. Minnesota is an amazing school for academics and will set me up for life after college. I also chose Minnesota because of the team. I noticed how close the team was with each other during my recruiting trip, and it was something that I just had to be apart of.
GS: How did you get into gymnastics?
MS: My parents initially put my older siblings in gymnastics when we were young. They loved it, so they decided to put me in it too. I started gymnastics when I was 3 years old.
GS: What is your favorite gymnastics memory?
MS: My favorite gymnastics memory was qualifying for JO Nationals for the very first time.
GS: What are your hobbies outside of gymnastics?
MS: I love spending time with my friends and family, watching TV and writing.
GS: What is one thing Gopher fans should know about you?
MS: Gopher fans should know that I am going to be loud this season! I can't wait for fans to see how hard this team has been working.
