The No. 23 Gophers just landed in Champaign, Ill. in preparation of the Big Ten Championships. They will compete in the evening session on Saturday starting on vault at 7 p.m.

Minnesota's rotation order will be vault, bye, bars, beam, bye and floor. Saturday's meet will broadcast live on Big Ten Network. After this weekend the Gophers will have a week of rest before hosting the NCAA Regionals.

Speaking of Regionals
Don't miss out on the top gymnastics at the collegiate level right here in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 7 when Minnesota hosts one of six regionals across the country. Get tickets here.

Three Gophers Named All-B1G
Lexy Ramler, Ivy Lu and Hannah Hitchcock were named to the 2018 All-Big Ten teams earlier this week. Ramler and Lu were each named First Team All-B1G and Hitchcock earned Second Team All-B1G honors. This is the first time that all three have earned All-B1G honors in their career.

Ramler has been named the B1G Gymnast of the Week four times and the Freshman of the Week five times this season. She is the top all-around gymnast in the conference with an RQS of 39.485 and has won eight all-around titles this year. Her top all-around score this season was a 39.600 which is the highest mark in the conference.

With an RQS of 9.925 on beam, Ramler is ranked No. 5 in the NCAA and is at the top of the B1G. She is also ranked No. 4 on bars in the B1G and No. 13 in the NCAA with a 9.910 RQS.

Lu has been one of the most dominant gymnasts on bars in the entire country in her sophomore season. She is ranked No. 2 in the NCAA and first in the conference with a 9.955 RQS.

She has gone over 9.900 on bars in nine meets this season and has hit 9.950 or higher five times. Only one time has she gone less than 9.900 this season and she still managed a 9.850. Lu tied the school bars record twice this season scoring 9.975's in back-to-back meets.

While Lu has shined the brightest on bars, she did make history on beam becoming just the second Gopher to ever score a perfect 10.000 on the event.

It has been a strong senior season for Hitchcock. She has set career high marks on both vault and bars and even performed a floor routine for the first time in her career. She is ranked No. 12 in the B1G on bars with a 9.870 RQS.

She scored a career high 9.925 this season and has hit 9.850 or higher in seven meets. She has also been one of the Gophers most consistent gymnasts on vault and is third on the team with a 9.820 RQS. She has hit a career high 9.850 three times this season

Last Time Out
The Gophers found themselves in a hole early at the Big Five meet but clawed back to get into the evening session. They had a tough go if it on beam early but bounced back with a strong floor. They followed with their third highest score of the year on vault and closed out with a big time bars score for the second straight week.

Ramler won a share of the all-around title with a 39.450, Lu won the bars title with a 9.950 and Williams won a share of the floor title with a 9.900.

More Gopher Tidbits
The Maroon and Gold is ranked No. 23 with a 196.160 RQS. They hit a season high 196.675 in an upset over Arizona State on Senior Night.

The Gophers have ended on bars the past two weeks and that lineup has come up with big time fireworks. Two meets ago they tied the highest score in program history with a 49.450 and last week the bars squad propelled the team into third at the B1G Five meet with a 49.350, sixth highest in program history.

The bars squad is now ranked No. 10 in the country with a 49.275 RQS. The Gophers are not ranked outside of the top-30 on any event.

Williams has provided a consistent anchor on floor all season long. She has not scored below a 9.800 and has hit a pair of 9.900s.

Rachel Rowland has big solid in the middle of the bars rotation. She has hit 9.875, 9.875 and 9.825 in the past three meets. Kristen Quaglia has been consistent early in the bars lineup with three straight 9.775s.

Selena Ung had a pair of 9.850 performances on beam before the B1G Five meet. Mary Korlin-Downs has also hit the 9.850 range on beam this season.

Senior Ciara Gardner can put up big time numbers. She has hit 9.900 or higher on three different occasions on floor this season. She has also hit 9.875 on beam and has three 9.800s on vault this season.

#LoveTheBattle
This season's theme is love the battle. The Gophers want fans to see the year-round work that goes into gymnastics. They have embraced that theme throughout the season when adversity has struck.
