Lexy Ramler and Ivy Lu have both shined in the 2018 season and were named regular season All-Americans by the National Association of College Gymnastics Coaches for Women (NACGCW).

Ramler received First-Team honors on beam and Second-Team honors on both all-around and bars while Lu notched First-Team honors on bars.

Ramler finished with a 9.925 RQS on beam. She went 9.900 or higher eight times this season on the apparatus. She was the only Big Ten gymnast honored on the beam. On bars Ramler finished with a 9.910 RQS and went 9.900 or higher seven times.

The St. Michael, Minn native won eight all-around titles this season. She was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week five times and the Gymnast of the Week four times. She was honored at the Big Ten Championships with the B1G Freshman of the Year. She finished with a 39.485 all-around RQS which led the entire conference. Her 39.600 at Ohio State is still the highest score by any conference gymnast this season.

Lu made history on bars this season for the Maroon and Gold finishing with a 9.955 RQS. Previously only two gymnasts had ever hit 9.975 on bars in program history and Lu did it in back-to-back meets this season. She went over 9.900 or higher on bars in 10 meets and hit 9.950 or higher six times.

At the B1G Championships Lu became the first Gopher since 2002 to win a conference championship on bars scoring a 9.950.

NCAA women's gymnastics started recognizing regular season All-Americans in the 2013 season. The top-8 on each event and all-around by RQS are awarded First Team honors and 9-16 on each event and all-around are given Second Team honors.

Ramler is the first Gopher since Lindsay Mable to earn All-American honors in the all-around. Both Mable and Hanna Nordquist were beam All-Americans in the 2016 season. Before this season no Gopher had ever earned regular season All-American recognition on bars.

The Gophers found out who will be coming to the Minneapolis Regional on April 7 earlier this week.
