Gophers Finish Two Rounds at ANNIKA Intercollegiate

Among the top field in all of college women's golf, the Minnesota Golden Gophers saw significant improvement as they completed their second round at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M. After the first round at Royal Golf Club was postponed until Tuesday morning due to weather, the Gophers turned in their first round scorecards and ended the day 12th (301-296—597).
Reigning Big Ten Golfer of the Week Grace Kellar led the way for the Maroon and Gold, as the sophomore is tied for 29th at 1-over par (72-73—145). Senior Muyu Wu shaved four strokes off her first round score as she improved to a tie for 49th at 6-over par (77-73—150). Sophomore Jessica Lee (74-77—151) is one stroke behind in 51st place, while classmates Joanne Free (78-75—153) and Kate Lillie (79-75—154) are in 55th and 56th, respectively.
Duke holds the team lead with a score of 557 (279-278) with the Blue Devils' Ana Belac atop the field at 11-under par (68-65-133).
The ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M concludes Wednesday with tee times scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
