Gophers Open Season with Alumni Meet and Hall of Fame Induction

Minneapolis – The University of Minnesota swimming and diving teams opened the 2018-19 season with their annual alumni meet and Aquatics Hall of Fame induction Friday evening. Two inductees were honored, while current and former Gophers took to the pool, competing in a mix of relay exhibition events.
Kelci Bryant and Maggie Keefer comprised the University of Minnesota Aquatics Hall of Fame Class of 2018. The two former Gopher divers were honored midway through the meet by the Minnesota coaching staff and were presented plaques to commemorate the honor. The Gophers' will travel to their first official meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 12, when they travel to Madison, Wis. to face the Badgers.
