There will also be a promotion where fans can come to the Pav and donate a can of non-perishable goods in exchange for a discounted ticket.

Skatzka on a roll

174-pound Devin Skatzka is having a great season in his first year as a Gopher after transferring from Indiana University. The redshirt junior has racked up 20 wins, including eight straight, to accompany his eight major decisions and four technical falls.

Last weekend against Wisconsin Skatzka tookdown Patrick Spray quickly before repeatedly turning him for four four-point nearfalls. The dual ended at 18-0 before the end of the first stanza.

Record breaking freshman

Heavyweight Gable Steveson continues to make his presence felt in college wrestling with his 23rd consecutive win to begin his career and 10th victory over a ranked wrestlers already this season.

With his 23rd straight win Steveson joined a tie in 21st place alongside Jason Davids and Tim Hartung. With one more victory he will move up another spot to a tie with Bobbe Lowe and Scott Schiller.

Former heavyweight Cole Konrad is the school's all-time leader with 74 consecutive victories between November 2005 and March 2007.

The Lizard and the Thorn

Redshirt seniors Ethan Lizak and Tommy Thorn, 133-pounds and 149-pounds respecitvely, continue to climb up the Gophers all-time wins list. With 106 victories Lizak now sits at 38th place while Thorn, with 86 victories, sits just outside the top-fifty.

The two friends have been on campus together for five years now and are leaders on and off the mat for the Gophers.
