Maroon and Gold Head West to Daktronics Open

After a Friday night dual against Rider, the Gopher wrestling program is headed to Brookings, South Dakota, for the annual Daktronics Open on Sunday November 17.
With over 25 wrestlers set to compete, over half of the Gophers roster will be grappling.
Last season, the Gophers won seven titles, including both Mitch McKee and Carson Brolsma who both started last night for the 'U' against the Rider Broncs.
Additionally, Pat McKe, Brent Jones, Hunter Marko, Brayton Lee, Devin Skatzka, Bailee O'Reilly, Owen Webster, Caden Steffen, and Dylan Anderson are all set to wrestle this weekend after placing in the top-three last season.
Among the schools attending Sunday's Open include South Dakota State, Binghamton, and Big Ten foe Nebraska.
