Rink Claims Fall Finale Title

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Nick Rink paced a 1-2-3 finish for the University of Minnesota men's cross country program as the redshirt junior earned his first career win at St. John's Fall Finale.
Rink's individual medal gives the Gophers their 13th-straight champion in the men's eight-kilometer race in Collegeville, dating back to 2007.
The Gophers carried four top-10 finishers in the race with Rink leading the field at 25:35, narrowly edging Declan Dahlberg at 25:36 while Eli Hoeft finished third at 26:10. Hunter Staack added a sixth-place finish at 26:56. All four Maroon & Gold competitors were running unattached.
