Quotable
"It's always hard to be third at this meet," women's head coach Sarah Hopkins said. "We thought we had a shot to go in and win it, and I thought we did some good things and had some tough moments. This course was no messing around. It's one of the harder courses we've ever run -- it would give our course a run for its money, which is saying something. That was challenging, and kind-of an equalizer. I was proud of the women for grinding away and keeping at it the whole race. We weren't as good as we could have been today, but we ran a solid race. I think we're in a good spot; we just have to keep our heads up here and hopefully we get a chance to race again next week."
