Gophers Wrap Regular Season at Ohio State This Weekend

The Minnesota women's golf team will face its final tuneup before conference championships, traveling to Ohio for the Lady Buckeye Invitational. The event, hosted by Ohio State at its 6,319, par-72 Scarlet Course, will feature 54 holes over two days starting Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Minnesota is among a talented field that includes Big Ten foes Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers and the host Buckeyes, along with Indianapolis, Kent State, Seton Hall and Toledo.
The format will match that of the Big Ten Championship, with each team sending six players and four scores from each round counting towards the team scoring. For the Gophers, senior Muyu Wu, sophomores Kate Lillie, Joanne Free, Grace Kellar and Jessica Lee and freshman Karen Zhang will comprise the roster.
Live scoring is available throughout the tournament via Golfstat.
Last season, with the tournament shortened due to rain, the Gophers placed 10th while Free and Wu led the way, tying for 27th at 7-over par.
