Freshman hook up for six at Nebraska
Throughout the offseason we will take a look at one of Minnesota's touchdowns from the 2018 season in what we are calling Touchdown Tuesday. Today, we revisit Demetrius Douglas first career touchdown.
Last season featured the first of many for a lot of players wearing the Maroon and Gold. That will happen when you are the youngest team in America. This time it was Gopher freshman Demetrius Douglas who scored his first career touchdown. It was late in the second quarter against Nebraska and quarterback Zack Annexstad found Douglas for a 13-yard score. Douglas caught the ball at the five and then scampered into the end zone for six points.
