Gophers to Host Maroon vs. Gold Intrasquad and Alumni Gathering

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Swimming & Diving program will jumpstart their 2019-20 season by hosting a Maroon vs. Gold Intrasquad meet and Alumni Gathering on Sept. 27.
"I'm looking forward to having our alumni back to see our team's first action of the year, and then to have a chance to engage with them and each other that evening," said head coach Kelly Kremer. "It should be a very fun evening for Gopher Swimming & Diving!"
The Maroon & Gold Intrasquad meet will begin at 6pm at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center, with the Alumni Gathering set to follow at 8pm. Taking place at Headflyer Brewing, the Alumni Gathering will provide an opportunity for former Gopher swimmers to interact and reconnect.
As for the intrasquad, fans and alumni alike will be able to catch a glimpse of the upcoming season's teams. Fresh off a year in which both the men's (19th) and women's (11th) programs finished top-20 in the NCAA, there is plenty of reason for excitement as the 2019-20 campaign draws near. The schedule for the day is as follows:
