Gophers Men's Tennis Release Their 2019-20 Schedule

The University of Minnesota men's tennis team has released its official 2019-20 schedule. The schedule is highlighted with the annual Gopher Invitational tournament being hosted at Baseline Tennis Center, Nov. 8-10, as well as the Maroon & Gold hosting a total of 10 matches at home in the spring.
Alongside the Gopher Invitational, the Golden Gophers will travel to three other fall tournaments to open up their 2019 season, starting with the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, Sept. 20-23. The Gophers will then travel to the ITA Central Regionals, Oct. 24-28, followed by the Florida Gulf Coast Invitational, Nov. 1-3, before finally finishing up their fall season back home for the Gopher Invite.
Following winter break, the Gophers will return to action in 2020 to kick off their spring season with a neutral site match against Marquette in Rochester, Minn. on Jan. 18. They will then head on the road for a pair of matches Jan. 25-26 against BYU and Harvard.
The Maroon & Gold will then be able to host its first official home match of the spring season on Jan. 31 against Auburn, as well as hosting Alabama two days later on Feb. 2. As for the Gophers' Big Ten schedule, the team will have to wait until March for their first taste of conference play, as the Gophers take on rival Wisconsin at Baseline Tennis Center, Mar. 8.
The Golden Gophers are set to have a Big Ten schedule that consists of 11 total matches, six of which will be hosted at Baseline Tennis Center. The notable away trips for the squad include stops stops in Iowa, March 20, Illinois March 27-29, and Indiana April 10-12.
To cap off the year, the Gophers will host a pair of matches at Baseline, the first being against Penn State (April 17), before finishing off the regular season against Ohio State (April 19). The Maroon & Gold will then travel to Indiana University, April 23-26, to take part in the Big Ten Tournament.
