Gophers to kick off 2021 season at Badger Invitational

The long-awaited season will finally get underway for Minnesota Men's Tennis
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - After an extended off-season, the University of Minnesota men's tennis will finally see it's first action of the 2021 season, traveling to Madison, Wis. to compete in the Badger Invitational.
The invitational will take place from Thursday, Jan. 28th to Sunday, Jan. 31st and will follow a hidden dual format. Besides the University of Minnesota, as well as host school, University of Wisconsin, there will also be two other B1G participants: University of Nebraska and Indiana University.
The event schedule, which is yet to be finalized, has to Gophers slated to compete at the following times:
Thursday, Jan. 28th
6:00pm (tentative) - Doubles vs. Indiana
Friday, Jan. 29th
1:00pm - Doubles vs. Nebraska
1:45pm - Singles vs. Indiana
Saturday, Jan 30th
1:00pm - Doubles vs. Wisconsin
1:45pm - Singles vs. Nebraska
Sunday, Jan. 31st
12:00pm - Singles vs. Wisconsin
While the B1G has yet to finalize and release the remainder of the 2021 schedule, this will be an ITA sanctioned event, and will count towards individual and doubles play records.
