Gophers to Conclude Fall Season at Isleworth Collegiate

The University of Minnesota men's golf team will be back in action Oct. 17-19 at the Isleworth Collegiate hosted by the University of Central Florida at the Isleworth Country Club in Windemere, Fla.
The three-day event will consist of 54 holes, 18 holes each day, as 14 teams will compete on the par-72, 7,544-yard layout.
Joining Minnesota and host UCF will be several nationally-ranked programs led by Arizona State (4/3). Illinois (26/17) is another ranked team as is Auburn (21/21). LSU (23/RV), SMU (38/RV), and Florida (44/RV) will also all tee-off at the three-day event this weekend. The rest of the field will include Augusta, California, Coastal Carolina, North Florida, South Carolina, and West Virginia. (Golfstat/Golfweek).
Representing the Gophers in Florida will be Antoine Sale, Lincoln Johnson, Ben Warian, Harrison Arnold and Bennett Swavely.
In the most recent competition at the Purdue Fall Invite, Sale was Minnesota's top finisher in a tie for 20th at 1-over par. After recording a 77 opening round, Sale completed the second round at 68 and carded a 72 final round to end the tournament. Johnson completed his tournament in a tie for 31st with a 5-over 221 for 54 holes.Warian followed one stroke behind in a tie for 36th. After recording a 77 and 76 in the first two rounds, Warian impressed with a final round score of 69. Swavely came in a tie for 73rd with a 54 hole total of 238 (78-82-78). Arnold last competed for the Gophers at the Rich Harvest Farms Intercollegiate where he finished in sole possession of 77th place.
