Gophers Announce 2021 Schedule

The 16-game slate will feature nine home and seven away matches
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota men's tennis team has announced the remainder of the 2021 season. The schedule, which has been shortened this season due to COVID-19 implications, will feature nine home matches and seven away (or road) matches throughout the year, much similar to previous spring schedules in years past.
Kicking off the B1G season, the Gophers will head to Michigan for the opening weekend, playing against Michigan State on Feb. 20, then Michigan on Feb. 21.
The following weekend, the Maroon & Gold will head home for a three-match homestretch, which starts with the home opener against Northwestern on Feb. 26 at Baseline Tennis Center, followed by Illinois on Feb. 28, and Wisconsin on March 6th.
After a two-match road trip against Iowa and Nebraska, Minnesota will host its longest home stand of the year, a four-match stretch spanning from March 19-March 28, where they will host Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Indiana.
The "U" will close out the year with a pivotal three-game road trip from April 2-11 for their second matches against Northwestern, Illinois, and Wisconsin, before hosting Iowa and Nebraska on April 16 and 18 for the final weekend of the season
