14 Gophers Named to CSCAA 2021 Scholar All-America Team

MINNEAPOLIS - The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America announced their 2021 Scholar All-America teams Tuesday morning, with 14 Gophers clinching a spot on the second-team roster.
The honors were split for the men and women this season, with seven student-athletes from either gender earning the nod. Second Team honors were awarded to student-athletes who maintained a 3.50 GPA while also achieving an NCAA 'B' cut, or competed at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships.
Below is a complete list of the 14 Gophers to be awarded the honor, along with their respective events in which they achieved the second-team criteria:
Rachel Butler // 400 IM
Emily Cook // 100 back
Indy Jongman // 200 back
Emma Lezer // 100 breast, 200 breast
Kelli McCarthy // 400 IM
Jordan McGinty // 200 free
Maggie Summit // 50 free
Aidan Dulaney // 1650 free
James Freeman // 500 free, 1650 free
Cameron Kelley //500 free
Duncan Lester // 1-meter, 3-meter
Chris Nagy // 1650 free
Kaiser Neverman // 200 fly, 200 IM
Gavin Olson // 100 back, 200 back

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
