Gophers Resume Spring Play at Valspar Collegiate

The Minnesota men's golf team is back in action on Monday and Tuesday at Valspar Collegiate. The two-day tournament feature's three rounds of golf at Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida, and is hosted by the University of Houston.
The event kicks off Monday at 7:30 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start. Round two will also be played Monday, following the conclusion of round one. The third and final round is set for 7:30 a.m. (CT) on Tuesday.

The Lineup:
The Gophers are sending a lineup consisting of freshman Ben Warian, senior Lincoln Johnson, senior Will Grevlos, freshman Eduardo Galdos, and sophomore Bennett Swavely.
The Field:
Valspar Collegiate features a strong field, made up of 15 teams: Minnesota, (6)Arizona State, (21)Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Marquette, (4)North Carolina, Ohio State, (10)Pepperdine, South Florida, (17)Texas A&M, (5)Texas Tech, Southern California, and (20)Wake Forest.
The Course:
With dramatic views of the St. Lucie River, the 18-hole course at Floridian National Golf Club is known as one of the most beautiful, well-designed, challenging yet playable courses in the nation.

The Maroon and Gold will have a quick turnaround following Valspar Collegiate, as they head to West Lafayette to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational on April 9th & 10th.
