Gophers Set for Alister Mackenzie Invitational Monday

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team will travel to Fairfax, Calif., to compete in the Alister Mackenzie Invitational.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament is hosted by the University of California-Berkeley and is set for Monday and Tuesday at the Meadow Club.

The Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by graduate seniors Jacob Pedersen and Brock Winter, senior Ben Warian, and juniors Gavin Hagstrom and Bennett Swavely.
The Field:
The Gophers will be competing against host-Cal-Berkeley, UC Davis, Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara, Harvard, Fresno State, Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara and New Mexico.
Last Time Out:
The Maroon and Gold finished in sixth place overall at the Blessings Invitational with a team score of 15-over par (299-292–591) in 36 holes, as the final round was canceled to due rain. Winter led the team, finishing tied for fourth place with Warian finishing one shot behind in a tie for sixth.
