WACO, Texas -Â Sophomore Taylor Krapf went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a 15-2 loss to the No. 25 Baylor Bears on Sunday.
Junior Jacie Hambrick (4-1) got the ball to start for Minnesota (8-6) and took the loss.
At the plate, the Gophers were paced by Krapf, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a home run and two RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Maroon and Gold put runs on the scoreboard first, starting the scoring in the second inning. Minnesota plated two runs when Krapf left the yard with freshman Addison Leschber aboard. The Gophers were unable to hold the lead, as Baylor scored 15 times over the remaining three innings to grab the 15-2 win.
GAME NOTES
