Gophers Finish Round One at Big Ten Championship

MINNEAPOLIS - Â The University of Minnesota Men's Golf team finished its first round at the Big Ten Championships Friday in Galloway, N.J.Â
The Gophers are currently in a tie for ninth place overall after 18 holes with a combined team score of 30-over par (314). No. 3 Illinois currently holds the top spot at 8-over par (292).Â
Notable:
Junior Ben Warian finished his first round with a score of 2-over par (73) and currently sits in a tie for fourth place overall.Â
Senior Harrsion Arnold currently sits in a tie for 20th place overall with a score of 3-over par in his first 18 holes.Â
Sophomore Eduardo Galdos is tied for 52nd after his first round with a score of 10-over par.Â
Graduate Lincoln Johnson is three shots back of Galdos at 13-over par and is tied for 61st. Fellow graduate Jacob Pedersen is tied for 67th with a score of 15-over par.Â
