Gophers Head to Arizona to Compete in Westbrook Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to compete in the Westbrook Invitational for the third year in a row. The tournament is hosted by the University of Wisconsin and will take place Feb. 25-26 at Westbrook Village Golf Club just outside of Phoenix.
Round one will begin Sunday, Feb. 25, with a 9:30 a.m. CT shotgun start followed immediately by round two. The final round starts Monday at 9:30 a.m. CT.

Lineup:
The five Gophers competing in the event are sophomore Isabella McCauley, senior Hailey Loh, and graduates Emma Carpenter, Grace Curran, and Megan Furtney. Freshman Sara Tomaszewski will compete as an individual.
The Field:
Meeting Minnesota in Arizona are No. 32 South Florida, No. 40 Kansas, No. 43 Colorado State, Iowa, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Florida, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Sam Houston, UNC-Wilmington, and Wisconsin.
The Course:
Teams will compete at the Westbrook Village Golf Club - Vistas Course in Peoria, Arizona.
The par-72 course plays 6,248 yards.
Looking Ahead:
Following the Westbrook Invitational, the Gophers will head to Las Vegas Nev., for The Show at Spanish Trail on March 4 and 5
