The Season So Far
Last weekend, the Gophers opened up conference play with back-to-back wins over Indiana and Purdue on the road. Following their stellar conference opening, the Gophers claimed the No. 72 spot in the ITA team rankings on Mar. 12. Minnesota sophomore Aiva Schmitz was selected as Co-Big Ten Player of the Week for her performance over the weekend, as she secured the winning point for the Gophers in both matches from the No. 3 singles spot.

Through the seven Minnesota student-athletes that have seen official dual-match action this season, the Maroon and Gold are 59-23 in singles and 38-34 in doubles.
