Warian Finishes in Top Ten At Tiger Intercollegiate

MINNEAPOLIS - Senior Ben Warian nabbed a top-10 finish Tuesday at the Tiger Intercollegiate in Columbia, Mo.
The Maroon and Gold (282-290-289–861) finished the tournament tied for ninth with a score of 9-over par.
Iowa State took home the team title at 11-under par (277-287-277–841), while Host-Missouri's Jack Lundin nabbed the top individual spot at 13-under par.
Notable:
Warian finished the tournament with 14 birdies carded, the fifth most in the field. Finishing the tournament with back-to-back scores of 72, Warian tied for 10th with a score of 3-under par.
Graduate senior Jacob Pedersen carded eight bridies through the 54-hole tournament. Pedersen finished tied for 27th place with a score of 1-over par (67-74-73).
After back to back rounds under par to close out the event, sophomore Cormac Sharpe finished one shot back of Pedersen at 2-over par (77-70-68), tied for 32nd place.
Making his spring debut and competing as an individual, junior Eduardo Galdos finished tied for 55th place with a score of 6-over par (72-72-75).
Sophomore Mason Roloff ended his tournament with a score of 10-over par (72-75-76) and tied for 73rd place. Junior Bennett Swavely finished tied for 90th place with a score of 15-over par (78-74-76).
Looking Ahead:
The Gophers head to Sylvania, Ohio, April 15-16, to compete in the High Meadows Intercollegiate.
