MILWAUKEE - Powered by a multi-goal performance from Khyah Harper, the University of Minnesota soccer team (3-0-0, 0-0-0 Big Ten) defeated the Milwaukee Panthers (0-4-0, 0-0-0 Horizon League) 3-2 on Thursday night at Engelmann Stadium.
The Golden Gophers were led offensively by Harper who dished out eight shots and finished three. The hat trick marks the second one in-a-row from the senior.

In the 36th minute, Harper finished her fourth goal of the season off assists from Boman and Birdsell. Minnesota went into the locker room with a 1-0 lead.
Milwaukee leveled the game in the 59th minute. A Panther drew a foul in the box and converted the penalty kick for a goal.
Minnesota pressured Milwaukee offensively, as Calhoon played a through ball to Harper who finished to re-take the lead, 2-1.
With 12 minutes left the Panthers scored an upper 90 shot. It wouldn't be enough as Harper finished her second hat trick of the season thanks to an assist from Kalal.
