Minnesota Opens Spring Season at Puerto Rico Classic

RÍO GRANDE, P.R. – The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to begin their spring season at the Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue University. The event will take place at the Grand Reserve Golf Course from Feb. 1-3.
The Golden Gophers will be joined by 18 other programs for the three-day competition. Tee times will begin with a shotgun start at 5:30 a.m. CT for Feb. 1 for the first and second round. Competition will begin at 6:30 a.m. CT for the final round on Feb. 2. The final round will conclude on Feb. 3 if needed. Live scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/b0vx.
Lineup:
The Minnesota lineup will include junior Luisamariana Mesones, senior Isabella McCauley, senior Olivia Deakins, sophomore Reese McCauley, and senior Madison Le.
The Field:
The Golden Gophers compete against Purdue, No. 4 Arkansas, Furman, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, LSU, Michigan State, Michigan, No. 14 North Carolina, North Texas, No. 20 Northwestern, No. 15 Ole Miss, UNCW, and No. 10 Vanderbilt.

The Grand Reserve Golf Course plays as a par 72 and is 6,305 yards.
