2021 SPRING SEASON:
Finished his senior season his a singles record of 0-3 and a doubles record of 2-6 • Went 1-2 in doubles at the Badger Invitational • Earned a senior day victory with a 7-5 victory against Nebraska with teammate Siim Troost
2020 FALL SEASON:
*Fall Season was not played due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19*
2020 SPRING SEASON:
Academic All-Big Ten selection • Trained with the Gophers but did not see action on the court during dual season, which ended on March 12, 2020, when the Big Ten and NCAA announced they were ceasing competitions and championships because of COVID-19 public health concerns.
2019 FALL SEASON:
Wrapped up his tournament season with a record of 1-5 in singles play and a record of 4-2 in doubles play • Won the 2019 Gopher Invitational Maroon & Gold Draw Championship, alongside his teammates Dylan Heap and Daniel Martin • Went a perfect 4-0 in doubles play over the course of the Gopher Invitational to help lead himself and his Gopher teammates to the title.
2019 SPRING SEASON:
Trained with the Gophers but did not see the the competition court during the dual season • Awarded Academic All-Big Ten honors • Named an ITA Scholar Athlete for the 2018-19 season.
2018 FALL SEASON:
Completed the fall tournament season with a final overall record of 4-7 in singles play while also holding a doubles record of 3-3 • Recorded his first singles win of the new season in a 6-4, 6-3 win over Taine Bernahrd of Oklahoma in the Ivy Plus Invitational • Wrapped up his fall season play by logging three wins across the span of the Gopher Invitational.
2018 SPRING SEASON:
Trained with the Gophers but did not see action on the court during dual season.
2017 FALL SEASON:
Started off his career with the Gophers with a 2-6 mark in singles play, and 4-2 in doubles • picked up his first collegiate victory edging Marcella Moreira of Oral Roberts at the ITA Central Regional on Oct. 19-23 • picked up a victory over Conor Somers of Notre Dame at the Gopher Invitational on Nov. 3-5 • advanced to the sweet 16 of the ITA Central Regional alongside Stefan Milicevic, before falling to Andrea Caligiana and Miroslav Herzan of Wichita State.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA:
A 2017 graduate of Sioux Falls Lincoln High School • played six seasons for head coach Tom Krueger and Lincoln • earned four State Championships during his prep career • also competed in basketball, earning two varsity letters as a point guard for the Patriots • earned an Academic All-State selection in basketball.
PERSONAL:
Born January 24, 1999 to parents Diane and Kevin Dobbs • has two siblings, Sam and Elle • plans to major in psychology with a minor in business management at Minnesota.
